5th INDO NEPAL TOURNAMENT 2021-2022

Dr. Aditi (Assistant Professor) from Faculty of Physiotherapy, was selected and appointed as a Clinical Physiotherapist of India for the 5th Indo Nepal tournament. This tournament was organised by School Sports &Cultural Activities Federation- India, Pokhra Cricket Academy, Nepal & Youth and Sports Development Organisation, Nepal. The tournament included Cricket (UNDER 19 years) , Martial Arts, Carom board and Athletics. The event started on 5-04-2022 at Army Ground, Kathmandu, Nepal .  The cricket match started after the opening ceremony function. The match continued for the 2 days between Indian and Nepalese teams and Indian Cricket team won the match. Next day martial arts participants showed their hard work and received Silver medal in Martial Arts.  On 8th April, Indian athletic players made India proud by getting the Gold medal in 200mtr race. On the last day of event i.e on 9th April 2022, carom board competition was held between Indian and Nepalese champions and we had to satisfy with Silver medal in this competition. During these competitions Dr. Aditi motivated every participant and took care of every minor and major injury. She nicely co- ordinated with the team coaches and provided the required warm up, stretching and cool down session. She was there to support and manage the soft tissue injuries occurred during the events. Best performances come from a healthy participant and she used her skills in managing that state of students. During closing ceremony she was awarded with certificate of appreciation for her work along with Medal and Momento.
