A two-days hands-on workshop on “Rigid Taping” was conducted by Dr. Siddhartha Sen (Professor) in Faculty of Physiotherapy for the post graduate students of physiotherapy on 02-03.06.2022. The overall goal of the workshop was to introduce the students about the purpose, effects and techniques of taping in athletic conditions. Additionally, the training gave insight in which conditions they can use athletic tape effectively. Sir also explained the precautions and contraindications along with the clinical applications of this technique in an elaborated manner. These 2 days’ workshop cleared many concepts of rigid taping and practical session of athletic taping on every joint made the vision of the student clear about the use and handling of the situation on ground zero. Students got new feather in their wings and the confidence to do better in their field.
