The establishment of the Physiotherapy department has come up as a boon for the people of nearby villages who were earlier unaware of what Physiotherapy is all about and could not afford costly treatment in the corporate hospitals. Awareness camps are organized by the Faculty in association with other medical discipline so that they can identify the symptoms and can approach hospital for preventive measures and treatment.
Faculty of Physiotherapy has been the part of outreach programme conducted by SGT University at village Budhera and Sultanpur. Regular camps, Visits, door to door health survey are conducted by the team of health professionals. A team of physiotherapists which includes staff and students assess, educate and treat patients who require Physiotherapy during the visits.
