Physiotherapy is a branch of science which aims at the preservation, enhancement, or restoration of movement and physical function impaired or threatened by disability or by any other disease process.
Faculty of Physiotherapy is a constituent of Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University & was established in the year 2013. Faculty offers Course in Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Master of Physiotherapy in six specializations (Orthopaedics, Sports, Neurology, Cardiopulmonary, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Community Based Rehabilitation and PhD program. The college is a member of Haryana State Council of Physiotherapy. The Physiotherapy College provides clinical training to the students at multi-specialty 800+ bedded SGT Hospital. State of art labs and research facilities are available for both PG and UG students. Faculties in different specialties with good Experience and with a strong academic background are part of the team. A good number of publications by Faculty Members in reputed journals are done every year. Not only physiotherapeutic input but the overall grooming of the students is done. The faculty is associated with renowned Hospitals and organizations to provide training in the field of Physiotherapy. Regular Organization of Conferences and Workshop Expert talks are conducted to create awareness about upcoming concepts and skills.
