Faculty of Physiotherapy organized a two days hands on workshop conducted by Dr Harpreet Singh, Advanced C/NDT, NDTA(USA), Department of Neurology, AIIMS, New Delhi on 8th and 9th April, 2022.
In inauguration ceremony which was held at 10am, D- Block Faculty of Physiotherapy, SGT University, Dr ShyamLalSinglaalong with the Dr Pooja Anand, Dean FPHY presented a token of Momentoto the resource person. Dr ShyamLalSingla in his welcome speech appreciated Dr Harpreet for his valuable contribution in field of Neuro-rehabilitation. Also he addressed students regarding the importance of NDT for rehabilitation of patients with neurological impairments.
This workshop was organised for MPT students, BPT Interns and BPT final student (35 Total) along with 3 Faculty members specialized in Neurology. Aim of the workshop was to teach students about the basic concepts of NDT, analysis of Human movements, postural control, therapeutical handling during evaluation and intervention. Two days included teaching as well as practical demonstration on the subjects. It also included students interaction as well as question answer session for better understanding of the topic. Workshop ended on 9th April, 3:30 pm with a vote of thanks and Sapling presented by Dr PoojaAnand to Dr Harpreet Singh. Students received certificates on successfully completing the Hands on Workshop.
